Scott Greenberg

Scott Greenberg, PT, DPT

Scott Greenberg is a sports physical therapist based out of Gainesville, FL. He is the Manager of Operations for UF Health’s Department of Rehabilitation and oversees 14 outpatient locations with over 180 staff members. Scott is the acting Chair of the AASPT Running Special Interest Group.

Scott has an extensive background working in all areas of sports medicine over the past 20 years ranging from facility/clinic management to direct patient care. He has a vast amount of experience in foot/ankle rehabilitation, running medicine, and foot orthoses fabrication. He has been involved with the National Basketball Association with respect to foot orthoses fabrication, as well as the University of Florida Athletic Association regarding, running injury rehabilitation, foot orthoses, and lower extremity rehabilitation for their athletes. He has taught the foot and ankle curriculum for the University of Florida Physical Therapy Department and lectured both locally and nationally numerous times on orthoses fabrication and running-related issues.

Along with his Doctor of Physical Therapy and BS in Exercise and Sports Science, he is a Certified Endurance Running Specialist through US Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association, hold certifications in track and field through USA Track and Field, and Strength and Conditioning through the NSCA. Scott is a Lead Instructor for RunDNA, a continuing education company designed to improve outcomes for clinicians who treat endurance athletes.
